Off Property Tours & Excursions

Following is a list tours and excursions available for us at Caliente Caribe.

JEEP SAFARI FULL DAY:
Pickup at 8:45 AM and back at 4:00 PM.
Go through Dominican Villages. Visit typical houses, nice beach, blue lake, and the waterfall in Cabrera. Have all national drinks you can drink. Typical Dominican lunch of rice, chicken and salad is included.

JEEP SAFARI HALF DAY:
Pickup at 8:45 AM and back at 1:00 PM or Pickup time at 1:30 PM and back at 5:30 PM. Fruit and drinks served (no lunch).

PUERTO PLATA / SOSUA CITY TOUR:
Pickup at 7:30 AM and back at 4:00 PM. Interesting history of the new world. Dominican style lunch with one drink. Visit the amber Museum, ruins of Christopher Columbus brother’s fortress, large rum factory (includes taste test), gift shop, central park and Sosúa beach.

HORSEBACK RIDING ( 4 HOURS):
Pickup at 8:45 AM and back at 1:00 PM or pickup at 1:30PM and back at 5:30 pm.
Enjoy trails up the mountain and through typical villages. Soft drinks included.

SAMANA EXCURSION:
Pickup at 7:30 AM and back at 5:00 PM. Follow the coast see palm trees and white sand. See the way of life in typical villages. Once in Samaná, go by boat to Cayo Levantado and spend a lazy afternoon on a beautiful beach. Lunch provided.

FOUR WHEELING: (2 per bike)
Pickup at 8:45 PM and back at 1:00 PM or Pickup at 1:30PM and back at 5:30 PM
Drive through the Rio San Juan Mountains: enjoy the river and our peoples. Taste a natural coffee and more. Soft drinks and fruits are included.

Whale Watching:
Pick up at 7:30 AM and back at 5:00 PM. Lunch and drinks are included.

Water sports & Excursions

Every Tuesday around 10:30 am we offer a free pool demo diving course for beginners at the resort.

Nude snorkeling and diving can be done directly from our beach.

Each one of the dive boats in our fleet visit various dive sites on a three trip and four trip schedule 7 days a week. Each carry up to twelve divers. All of our dives Guided Tours by licensed and trained PADI professionals.
